Upcoming Anthologies

Two forthcoming anthologies that feature my work are now available for pre-order through their respective publishers.

The Children of Old Leech: A Tribute to the Carnivorous Cosmos of Laird Barron is now available for pre-order courtesy of Word Horde. This anthology includes my story "The Old Pageant" as well as tales from Mike Griffin, Scott Nicolay, Molly Tanzer, Stephen Graham Jones and other people of immense talent.

Details can be found, and orders placed, here.

A Darke Phantastique: Encounters with the Uncanny and Other Magical Things is a massive anthology of macabre and magical tales. My tale "Creaking Earth" shares a Table of Contents with stories and poems by Don Webb, Steve Rasnic & Melanie Tem, S.T. Joshi, Joe R. Lansdale and many, many more. The book also features a previously unpublished Foreword by none other than the late Ray Bradbury. Readers of this blog are likely aware of my affection for Ray and his works of October ethos, so appearing in this book alongside one of his last "new" works is an honour.

In other news, I have just learned that my story "A Cavern of Redbrick" from Shadows & Tall Trees 5 has received an Honourable Mention in Ellen Datlow's Best Horror of the Year Volume 6, coming later this year from Night Shade Books. And of course "A Cavern of Redbrick" was also selected for The Year's Best Weird Fiction Volume 1, which is also available for pre-order here.

There will be more news to come...
