I'm pleased to announce that "Mare's Nest", the novelette that debuted in Sylvan Dread: Tales of Pastoral Darkness, has been selected by the one and only Stephen Jones for Best New Horror #28, which is forthcoming from England's prestigious PS Publishing.
Best New Horror is the longest-running anthology series of its kind. I cut my authorial teeth reading its early volumes, which were filled with many fabulous talents whose stories inspired me to hone my craft, so it is always a great honour to have my work chosen by Steve for this series. "Mare's Nest" marks my third consecutive appearance in Best New Horror, a fact that is tremendously flattering.
